An Escape to Being an Electrician

Six months of working as a tech support rep taught me one thing—I didn’t want to be in an office. Fortunately, in 2004, I got my escape opportunity.

At that time, my high school friend’s father owned an electric service company and heard about my desire to get a job that had me working in the field. In February, he offered me a role, and I fell in love immediately. I enjoyed working with my hands, being out of the office, and meeting new people every day. After fourteen years, I decided it was time to reach my full potential in this field and I left to start ECO Electric LLC.

The Values of ECO Electric

Today, I operate ECO Electric with many of the same values that my friend’s father taught me—treat everyone with respect, avoid shortcuts, as they eventually become “long cuts,” and use the highest quality products and provide the highest quality of work. ECO Electric recycles as much as we can to keep reusable items out of landfill and abides by fulfilling every customer’s need, both stated and unstated.
