In 1983, I received an unusual and unexpected offer—to become a marketing director for an entire bank holding company.

This was unusual and unexpected because I did not have a background in either marketing or banking. Although I worked with an ad agency that had a relationship with this Missouri bank, I still had my hesitations. However, once the chairman of the bank sent me to Bank Marketing School in Boulder, I knew immediately I had found my perfect career fit.

The Growth of Cherry-Pickers Marketing

Since then, over the past two and a half decades, I have felt proud to work with hundreds of clients, vendors, and employees in a variety of marketing environments. My business today, Cherry-Pickers Marketing, continues to grow and succeed. To that end, we have evolved into providing digital marketing platforms for our clients, businesses, and nonprofits. While traditional marketing can still be effective and part of a mix for some clients, digital marketing is vital for any business. Digital marketing methods I provide include websites, local ranking, SEO, PPC, GMB, paid ads, reputation management -reviews, social media, paid social media, organic social media, and email marketing. Digital marketing is not static, changes happen, sometimes daily, and I am there to guide and be a resource for my clients.
