Small town Educational Background
My parents were both public school educators and encouraged me to discover new things. Boy, did I ever take them seriously. I’ve consistently challenged myself to learn as much as possible about a wide variety of things. That is what drew me to the world of commercial real estate. In this world you learn just about an incredibly broad number of businesses. And the best part is that you never do the same thing two days in a row.
Putting Business In Their Place
Nothing seems more natural to me than finding a business its’ home. This can be a funny business because everyone has some degree of experience in commercial real estate. But few do it all day every day. And the old saying that people “don’t know what they don’t know” applies to my business dramatically. There are tons of surprises in commercial real estate, and very few, if any, are pleasant. So, I view my job as ensuring that my Clients have no surprises.
