Tracie and I made the decision to form Cool Heat KC in the Spring of 2019. I have always enjoyed the electrical side of the trade and enjoy working on the complex electrical components of the high-efficiency systems that we install.
Our continuing education and specialized training set us apart from our competition. All our technicians, including myself, attend regular training throughout the year. I started in the trades as an Electricians Mate in the U.S. Coast Guard. I attended Electricians Mate “A” School in Yorktown, Virginia. Attending USCG Electricians Mate “A” School taught me troubleshooting and leadership skills I have used throughout my entire adult life.
Personal Information
I started at the bottom of a company and worked my way up. Because of that, I won’t forget where I came from or how it all began. When I started on my own, I had no customer base and worked my tail off to gain the trust and form relationships with our clients.
We have two kids, Tyler and Madison, and enjoy watching them grow and become their own unique individuals. We’ve been season ticket holders for Kansas State University Football since our daughter was a Freshman at K-State and on the Marching Band Drum Line. My idea of fun is slowing down and relaxing with friends and family. I also enjoy watching fireworks for the 4th of July every year. EMAW!
